Chicago Athletic Association Hotel
Block Electric recently completed a two-year renovation of the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Chicago. The project presented a real challenge in maintaining the buildings historic architecture and aesthetic while incorporating the full range of new electrical and lighting technologies.
The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel gave Block Electric a great opportunity to demonstrate our vast range of capabilities. This project included numerous spaces, each with unique styles and electrical requirements. Some of the work we undertook included:
- Exterior building lighting
- Boardroom electrical design
- 4th Floor gymnasium
- Game room and whiskey bar
- Madison Ballroom
- Meeting Ballroom
- And more
The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel was a fun, interesting and extremely challenging project that Block Electric was very proud to be a part of.
